A Library PIN is required to:

  • Access databases from off campus
  • Get course reserves
  • Access your library account
    • .

Creating Your Library PIN

Please read through all directions before creating your pin.

1. Click on the "Create My Library PIN" button below.

2. Enter your Name and UCA ID number, leaving the PIN space blank and click on "Submit." Although the next page will suggest you use your Social Security Number, please disregard and use your UCA ID number.  Do not use your Social Security Number.

3. Enter your new PIN twice and click on "Submit." (You are creating your own PIN number; it may either be a number or a word or a combination of both.)

4. Write down your PIN so you will remember it. This is the PIN number that you use to access the databases from off campus.

5. If you have trouble creating your PIN or forget your PIN, please contact the Library Circulation Desk at 501-450-3129.


About Your PIN
  • If you forget your PIN, come to the library with your ID. Your PIN will be erased so that you may enter a new one. Library staff have no way of retrieving your PIN.
  • The library PIN may also be used to view your currently checked out materials, access electronic course reserves, and renew your books online.
  • If you experience difficulty at any point in this process, do not hesitate to call the Torreyson Library Reference Desk at 450-5224 or e-mail the Cybrarian.

Accessing Databases from Off-Campus

  • Select the database you wish to use.
  • At the pop-up box, enter your name, UCA ID number, and your Library PIN. If you have not created a Library PIN, please see the directions above.
  • Contact the Reference Desk at 450-5224 if you have any problems or need any help.
