Each department on campus is allocated a Library Budget at the beginning of each fiscal year. All orders placed by faculty for library books or media must be placed through the department's Library Liaison and will be added to the Library's circulating, reference, and/or reserve collections.
Deadline:The deadline for placing all materials orders is April 1st.Need to Find Materials to Order?Identify recommended titles in your area. Below are resources available in Torreyson Library to help you identify recommended titles. If you have any questions or need help with the resources, please contact your Subject Librarian.Reference BooksThe following resources are in the Torreyson Library Reference Collection, located on the 1st floor of the library.
Online JournalsThe Journals listed below contain book reviews, which are generally organized by subject. We recommend that you change the default view from Title to Page number; this will make it easier to "browse" the issue. Use the Table of Contents, usually the first article listed, to determine the starting page number of the reviews for your subject area. These titles are in ProQuest Research Library, which does allow you to set up e-mail alerts for notification when there is a new issue. ORuse  . Use Books In Print to find books, save them to a list, receive alerts of upcoming books in your field, and more. Many titles have reviews available; you may even limit your search to only those titles that have been reviewed. Once you've identified the books you wish to order, save them to a list, and e-mail them directly to your Library Liaison from Books In Print! If you need any assistance with the Books in Print database, please contact your Subject Librarian.

How to Order Library Materials:The preferred method for ordering books is either through Books in Print or via the Submit Order button, which takes you to an online order form. This allows us to get the materials quicker. Not using the form or not providing all information could lead to a delay in receiving requested materials.Order via Books in Print OR Click on the "Submit Order" button below to place your order online
