eBook Publishers
Many books, both reference and non-reference, are now available electronically, as ebooks, or in a digitized format. There are several advantages to ebooks:
- It is owned by the library
- It is searchable
- It is accessible via the library's catalog and is available to students and faculty 24 hours.
- In many cases, more than one person can view the book at a time.
- Information may be printed, e-mailed, and/or saved.
- Generally, the cost for an eBook is only about 10% above the cost of the print title.
