A multi-disciplinary database offering full text for more than 2,050 scholarly journals. Covering virtually every area of academic study, it offers full text information for many of it's journals dating as far back as 1985.

Britannica Online
Includes the Encyclopedia Britannica, Britannica Concise Encyclopedia, as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Collegiate Thesaurus. Search results include articles in the encyclopedia, web sites, and links to relevant journal articles.
Cabell's Directories
Provides directories of publishing opportunities in the following areas: Accounting, Economics and Finance, Management, Marketing, Educational, Curriculum and Methods, Educational Psychology and Administration, and Psychology.

Click on the database tab to access ClasePeriodica. Index of Latin American journals in the sciences and humanities. Use the Library's Catalog or E-Journal Finder to verify holdings.

Provides reference content for the core curriculum areas of Literature, History, Biographies, Science, and Social Studies.

Funk and Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
Provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.
JSTOR Scholarly Journals
Offers back issues and current issues of 117 journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also includes a selection of titles in the more science-oriented fields of ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
Legal Collection
Centered on the discipline of law and legal topics, Legal Collection is a collection of respected, scholarly peer-reviewed publications including law journals, documents, and case studies. offers full text for more than 250 of the world's best law journals. This database provides information centered on the discipline of law and legal topics such as criminal justice, federal law, organized crime, medical, labor & human resource law, ethics, the environment and much more.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe
Provides full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications with a variety of flexible search options.
Lois Law Library  To use click on MEMBERS. Call the Reference Desk (450-5224) to get a user i.d. and password.
Offers a wide range of legal content and supporting materials, including: up-to-date cases, statutes, rules and regulations, and other primary law for all 50 states and federal jurisdictions; expert-authored online treatise libraries, focused around practice areas, including Wigmore on evidence, Ginsberg and Martin on bankruptcy, and Price on estate planning; and extensive public records for individuals and corporations.

Professional Development Collection
Designed for professional educators, this database provides a highly specialized collection of more than 550 high quality education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles, as well as, more than 200 educational reports. In addition to full text, indexing and abstracts are provided for more than 900 journals.
ProQuest Research Library
Provides access to full-text journals across a wide range of subject areas, including arts, business, children, education, general interest, health, humanities, international, law, military, multicultural, psychology, sciences, social sciences, and women's interests.
PsychINFO
From the American Psychological Association, contains over two million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in the field of psychology, dating as far back as 1840. Journal coverage, which dates back to the 1800s, includes international material selected from nearly 2,000 periodicals in over 24 languages. Also includes information about the psychological aspects of related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business and law.
Sage Journals Online
Provides full-text and abstracts for journals in a variety of subject areas including Education, Geography, Health/Nursing, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Writing. Full-text available for subscribed journals only.
Social Service Abstracts
Provides bibliographic coverage of current research focused on social work, human services, and related areas, including social welfare, social policy, and community development. The database abstracts and indexes over 1,300+ serials publications and includes abstracts of journal articles and dissertations, and citations to book reviews.
Sociological Abstracts
Abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Wilson Social Sciences Full Text
A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere plus the full text of selected periodicals. Coverage includes a wide range of interdisciplinary fields covered in a broad array of social sciences journals. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.

Center for Jewish History
The Center for Jewish History emerged from a vision of a unique central repository for the cultural and historical legacy of the Jewish people. The Center embodies the unique partnership of five major institutions of Jewish scholarship, history and art: American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, Yeshiva University Museum and the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. This site provides access to the center's catalog, and a variety of other research services.
